Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I pick up my beef order locally?

There are two options for local pickup- our house in Erin, or Duke Farm in Cumberland City. If you are picking up at Duke Farm, please leave a note at the designated section when you click on the "cart" page. We will contact you within the next business day, by email or phone, to arrange a pickup time, or to let you know that your order is ready.

Is your beef grass-fed or gain-fed?

Our beef is considered grass-fed, grain-finished. Our steers are on feed for ~150 days before slaughter. We find this provides the best tasting, marbling, and fat content in our beef. Rest assured, we only slaughter the highest quality steers. Raised humanely on our farm in Erin, TN!

Does your beef have hormones or antibiotics?

No, our steers headed to slaughter do not receive any sort of anitbiotics, hormonal additives, or anything else. Furthermore, we take our steers to a locally owned, highly reputable processing facility, who does not add any dyes or unnecessary ingredients to the beef.

Do you sell 1/2 or whole shares?

Yes! Purchasing a half or whole share is very cost-efficient for families. We offer this for local customers. Please contact us for more information and to schedule a kill date. To give you an estimate, a half steer will total around $1700.

Do you offer shipping?

We currently offer shipping for our dry goods, such as summer sausage, jerky, snack sticks, tallow cream, and tshirts. We are working diligently to begin shipping our frozen beef for our non-local customers! Stay tuned.
